Our doctrinal statement

Credo Church is an evangelical church that bases its faith, doctrine and practices on the Bible as God's inspired, revealed and infallible Word. Our church adheres to the Apostles' Creed and the Lausanne Covenant.

God's Word

The Bible is the decree of our faith, doctrine, ethics and morals. 2 Tim 3:15-16, Heb 4:12, 2 Peter 1:19-21, John 10:35, 5:17

Deity

There is one true God. He reveals Himself in the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All three share the same nature, and have the same divine attributes. Gen. 1:26, 6:38-40, 15:26, Matt 28:19, 2 Cor. 1:14, 1 Pet. 1:2

Salvation

Salvation is obtained by grace through faith, not by works. Everyone who confesses with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, is saved to eternal life and will not be damned.

Baptism in water

Everyone who has a personal faith and confession is to be baptized in water by full immersion. Acts 2:38, 6:3-4 Rom. 6:3-4

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

A promise of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is for every believer to equip him for life and for the service of the Lord in the power of the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8, 2:1-4, Luke 3:16

The Local Church

Every believer belongs to the Body of Christ; which has a local expression, the local church, to which each individual believer may join. Acts 2:41, Rom. 12: 4-5, Heb. 10:25

Unity of Believers

Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, are one in Christ. Our church will be careful to preserve the unity of the Spirit and have a good relationship with all other believers. John 17:21-23, 1 Cor. 10:16-17, Eph. 4:3-6

Healing

Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the atonement, healing from sickness is provided for all who believe. Our Church practices praying for the sick.

Provision

God is a good God and a loving Father who cares for His children. God's blessing affects our whole being in all aspects, spiritually, physically, socially and materially. Matt.6:33,

Luke 6:38, 2 Cor. 9:8, Gal. 3:13-14, Eph. 1:3, Phil. 4:19

Marriage

Marriage is a covenant ordained by God between a man and woman. Sexual relations belong within the framework of marriage. Gen 2:24, Ex. 20:17, Matt. 19:6,19, Heb.13:4

Israel

The Jewish people have been the instrument through which the Bible and our Savior Jesus Christ came to us. In God's covenant with Israel, He gave the Jews their land with Jerusalem as its capital. Our church blesses Israel and the Jewish people. Gen. 28:13-15, Acts 15:14-17, Rom. 11, 12, 13

End times

Jesus Christ will come again soon for all who believe in Him. After the events of the end-times, He will establish his Kingdom of peace on earth for one thousand years. Then He will create a new heaven and a new earth. Ps. 72, Is. 65:17-25, Mi.4:1-4,
